Warsaw, 2 February 2009 Sygnity S.A. will adjust the System of Supplementary Financing and Reimbursement Servicing in PFRON (the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons) to the new legislation The Company Sygnity S.A. has concluded an agreement with PFRON on modification of the System of Supplementary Financing and Reimbursement Servicing. The modifications of the already functioning system are necessary due to the new legislation adjusting the Polish law to the European Union regulations. The agreement concluded with PFRON is aimed at adjusting the SODiR system to the changes resulting from the Act of 5 December 2008 on a change of the Act on professional and social rehabilitation and employment of disabled persons. The modifications of the system will also include changes resulting from Regulation of 9 January 2009 on supplementary financing of remuneration of disabled employees and on reimbursement of social insurance contributions of disabled persons. The agreement amounts to PLN 7.2 million net. First, electronic placing applications for supplementary financing of remunerations of disabled employees running business activities is to be made available from the beginning of February 2009. Next, there will be activated the functionalities for farmers who will be applying for reimbursement of social insurance contributions. The works on introduction and verification of the applications are to be completed by 30 March 2009. The remaining functionalities of the system, including additional servicing of the beneficiaries, will be implemented by 30 June 2009. The SODiR system in its hitherto form serves social aid beneficiaries, who submit in an electronic or paper form applications for obtaining supplementary financing of remuneration for disabled employees and applications for reimbursement of obligatory social insurance contributions of disabled persons, disabled persons who run business activities, disabled farmers or their disabled household members, for whom the farmer is obliged to pay insurance contributions. The system, having verified the applications, allocates on the Beneficiary’s account the aid that has been granted. At present there are nearly 50 thousand beneficiaries registered in the system: employers, persons running business activities and farmers. *** About Sygnity S.A.
