The Hair & Beauty Industry Authority (Habia) and your industry’s Sector Skills Council
(SkillsActive) are facilitating an event on Tuesday 26th November 2013 for a select group of
Nails & Beauty Salon and Spa owners and managers who would be interested in finding out
more about the development of the UK Professional Registers for Nail Technicians, Beauty
therapists & Spa therapists.
On behalf of Habia and SkillsActive, I have pleasure in inviting you to this event as we are
keen to hear your views on the potential value and impact of professional registers and to
give you the opportunity to shape and influence their future development. This will be an
informal gathering of about 20 key owners and managers.
Suki Kalirai, Chair of Habia and vice-chair of SkillsActive will host the event with support
from SkillsActive’s Wales Manager, Richard Tobutt.
Light refreshments will be served between 18.00 and 19.00 followed by a discussion session.
There will also be an optional tour of the Marine Spa.
