Richard III
Richard the third was born on the 2 of October 1452. He had a
crocked spine a shrivel arm and a limp. He was king for only two
years from1483 to 1485. His major accomplishments included the
introduction of bail so that suspected criminals were not put in jail
before their trial. He also established the Court of Requests, which
provided lawyers for poor people who could not afford them.
He died in the battle of Bosworth Field on August 22 1485 where he
fought Henry Tudor who was attempting to steal Richard’s crown.
After his death Richard the third was buried but his remains were
lost for over 500 years in 2012 they were discovered in
archaeological dig in a parking lot in Leicester.
