ADDENDUM #1
Dated February 11, 2014
Summary of Questions and Answers Submitted by Offerors
Note #1: No additional questions will be accepted.
Questions and Answers:
1. Will you further amend the RFP to reflect changes made in the addendum?
FHI360 response: The Addendum supersedes information provided in the original RFP so an amended RFP
document will not be issued.
2. In the scope of work, it is mentioned that the service provider would perform on-site production and
next day turn-around. Could you explain what this on-site production would entail and if that footage
would be a part of the closing/final video, or if the footage captured is for other purposes? Would it
occur during the meeting?
FHI360 response: If there was any onsite production, this would simply be cutting a video that is taped
during the day and getting it loaded into Vimeo to send out the next day. There would be very little editing.
For example, this may be taping of our president and COO speak and preparing the video to be uploaded.
3. Do you have a sense of the content of the opening and closing videos? Would they include only existing
footage or would some on-camera interviews be required?
FHI360 response: The opening video would be more of a contextual piece that would include interviews
and snippets from speeches that have taken place in the past. We would need the producer to help identify
those. The piece would answer a question like “Why do we do this work?” Or “Where is the development
community headed?”
The second piece would utilize some video that is being captured during the event by our
in-house staff and some video that would be captured by the hired producer. This would be a continuation
of the first video that integrates voices from the organization.
4. What is the approximate target length of each video
FHI360 response: 2-3 minutes
5. Is the use of animation a possibility?
FHI360 response: Yes! We are open to any methods to best tell the story.
