 Couture a-la-cart, a mobile retail boutique within the College for Family and Consumer
Sciences, will begin selling its student-made merchandise on campus with its official two-day
grand opening event. The cart will be open on the Tate Student Center lawn March 18 from
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 I’m looking for cute pictures for the generic pages in the Pointer that explain leadership,
sisterhood, socials, etc. If your sorority sisters have any cute group pics without GChis or

Committees
 Programming: Photo shoot is next Tuesday! Meet at the fountain at 5:30 PM
 Community Service External: Easter egg hunt is April 1st at 4:30 PM. Each sorority is required
to bring 4 bags.
Good of the Council
 AOII has our spring Philanthropy on Saturday 28th! It is a 5k and a color run!
 Gamma Phi Beta will host their annual Crescent Classic on our front lawn next Tuesday,
March 24th from 5-8. There will be pizza catered by Your Pie, cookies, and live music. Tickets
are $5 and you can buy them from any Gamma Phi or at the event. All proceeds go towards
Girls on the Run helping to build strong girls!
 Friday Night Fever, Pi Phi’s new spring philanthropy, will be Friday March 27 from 8 pm to
12 am. It's a carnival on Herty Field with games, music, food trucks, cotton candy and
popcorn, and the opportunity to pie a pi phi. Tickets are $5 from a pi phi or $7 at the door. All
proceeds go towards helping children's literacy. Hope to see y’all there!
 KD Waffle House dinner this Sunday 5-8 to support Prevent Child Abuse America! Delta
Gamma is having their Anchor Jam featuring the John King Band on March 31st at the
Georgia Theatre! Tickets are $10 from any DG & $15 on the Georgia Theatre website! Doors
open at 7 and the concert starts at 8! The concert will benefit Joining Forces, a branch of
Delta Gamma's Service for Sight that raises money and awareness for veterans who are
visually impaired! SDT Benefit concert $5 buy from any SDT or Theta Chi
 Kappa’s Color Run is this Saturday the 21st at 11 AM at Southeast Clarke Park. $20 to run $3
to sign up! There will be food and snacks. Wear all white if you want your clothes to look
super cool! All proceeds go to Books for Keeps, which gives kids the opportunity to pick out
books they want to read and keep who couldn’t afford it.
 Sigma Delta Tau's and Theta Chi's Beat Box benefit concert featuring Sam Burchfield and The
Welcome Home on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 5:00 PM at Theta Chi. Tickets can be
bought from any Sig Delt or Theta Chi for $5 (or $7 at the door). All proceeds support The
Tyanna Foundation, which works to raise money for breast cancer research by donating to
St. Mary's in Athens!
