This form is to be completed for completed property.
Please submit the original copy to the CPF Board’s Solicitors immediately after submitting the RPS/1A application online.
Only relevant pages of the LAD that are applicable for the case are required to be furnished.

Part 1: Authorisation to Submit Application to Use CPF for Private Property Purchase Online

Part 2: Declaration, Agreement, Undertaking & Acknowledgement
(a)
I/ We declare that:
(i) All the particulars provided in this application are true and correct.
(ii) I am/We are not (an) undischarged bankrupt(s).
(iii) The seller is not related to me/any of us. [If related, please state name and NRIC no. of seller, and
relationship: Name and NRIC no. of seller and relationship
(b)
I/We understand that acceptance by the Board of this application does not imply that the Board will
approve the withdrawal(s) applied for.
(c)
I/We agree and undertake to pay all valuation fees, legal costs and other expenses incurred by the
Board for the processing of the application and all matters consequential thereto regardless of whether
this application is approved. I/We hereby authorise the Board to deduct from my/our CPF account(s) the
aforesaid expenses and if applicable to apportion such deduction between us in such proportion as you
may determine.
(d)
I/We acknowledge that the withdrawal from my/our CPF account(s) under the Residential Properties
Scheme as approved by the Board shall be as instructed from time to time by me/us or my/our solicitors
or my/our mortgagees. I/We hereby authorise the Board to deduct from my/our CPF account(s) each
and every of the aforesaid withdrawals as approved by the Board.
(e)
I/We understand that this application is subject to the provisions of the Central Provident Fund Act
(Chapter 36) (“CPF Act”) and the subsidiary legislation made thereunder and all such terms and
conditions as may be imposed from time to time. I/We have read, fully understood and agree to
comply with and abide by the Terms and Conditions of the Residential Properties Scheme and terms in
the most recent Memorandum of Mortgage filed by the Board with the Registrar of Titles.
In particular, I/we understand the following:
(i)
The use of CPF (lump sum payment and monthly instalments) for the purchase of the property is
subject to the following housing limits at different points in time: Valuation Limit (VL), and
Withdrawal Limit (WL). I am/We are aware that no further use of CPF towards the payment of the
property will be allowed once the applicable limit mentioned above has been reached^.

(ii) The implications of holding the property as joint tenants or tenants-in-common1 as explained to
me/us by my/our solicitor.

Joint Tenants
If you and your co-owners hold the property as joint tenants, each of you as a co-owner owns the whole interest in the property and there are no
shares. Joint tenants have to act jointly to effectively bind the estate which they hold jointly. When one owner dies, that owner's interest in the
property will automatically pass to the remaining owner or owners who will hold the entire property absolutely in his/her own names. A will or
testament of the deceased will not prevent the passing of the deceased owner's interest to the remaining surviving owner or owners.
Tenants in Common
If you and your co-owners hold the property as tenants in common, each of you as a co-owner has your own respective share in the property, which
may be in equal or unequal shares. When one owner dies, that owner's interest in the property will pass by inheritance, either by will or testament
or if the owner dies intestate, according to written laws relating to intestacy for the time being in force.
