Head Translational Medicine (M/F)

Function Details:

Within the Pharmacology department, lead the Translational Medicine Unit.
Resource and guide the work of a team of scientists in a wide area of disease indications such as
oncology, autoimmune and infectious diseases.
The translation of set project goals into a pre-clinical in vitro and in vivo strategy.
Contribute to clinical studies - in close interaction with the clinical development department with a translational biomarker strategy and its implementation.
Oversee the section-specific project deliverables e.g. pre-clinical efficacy testing and
coordination and implementation of a translational strategy.
Collaborate and establish relationships with academic and industrial partners (CRO).
Requirements:
•

MD or PhD with more than 5 years of relevant business.
Able to work in close collaboration with other disciplines more in particular the medical
department.
Preferably experience in one or more of the following domains: inflammation, immunology,
autoimmunity, infectious diseases, haematology or oncology.
Able to work together with other project leaders and supervisors to synchronize the different
projects steps.
Supervise and contribute to reports writing as well as relevant parts of regulatory documents.
