Rivers of Living Water
(Ezekiel 47:1-12, Revelations 22:1-5)
Water is the source of all living beings. Even a vast wilder land can be turned into a fertile land when water
flows. Also, a fertile soil would become a desert when water dries out. Water and lives are inseparable from
one another.
1. The water from the temple in the vision of Ezekiel
* (Ezekiel 47:1-12)
1) Water flows out to become a huge river.
2) A great number of trees on each side of the river
3) The salty water became fresh when water flowed into it.
4) Swarms of living creatures will live and there will be large number of fish.
5) Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river and their leaves will serve for healing.
2. The river of the water of life in heaven John the Apostle saw
* (Revelations 22:1-5)
- The angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and
of the Lamb.
1) On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit.
2) The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
3) No longer will there be any curse.
4) There will be no more night.
5) They will reign for ever and ever.
3. The living water flowing from the temple of heart
1) Rivers of living water will flow from within them. * (John 7:37-39)
2) The water that Jesus gives * (John 4:13-14)
3) The throne in the heart * (John 14:20-23)
4) The effects of the living water
①Life flows in full.
②It restores one's soul as bitter water becomes sweet.
③Curses will go away.
④Fruits will be abundant.
⑤Healing will overflow.
4. For the living water to overflow
1) Never stop praying.
2) The living water overflows through praises.
3) Thanksgiving becomes the river of living water.
4) Repent so as to be clean before God.
The river of the water of life overflows not only in times of the millennium to come or in the throne of the
Heaven but also in our heart. If we embrace Jesus in our heart now with the fullness of the Holy Spirit, the
living water will overflow, so that we will enjoy good health and everything will go well with us even as our
souls will be getting along well with the overflowing of life.
