Demonstration of Basic Knots Pass AY Senior Test; Church Heritage, Bible Truths and General Paper Do and show evidence of 10 Hours of Christian Witnessing Name & complete the devotional guide Encounter Series I, Christ the Way or a Bible Year Plan Know, Explain the Aim, Motto, Pledge, Law and Song and be involved at least for 10 Months in Adventurer, Pathfinder, Ambassador, AYS Demonstrate your knowledge of the 28 Fundamental Beliefs by completing one of the following; Give an oral presentation on each belief Write a paper explaining each belief Give a series of Bible studies on each belief Conduct a seminar series teaching each belief Keep a devotional journal for at least 4 weeks, summarizing what you read each day. Enhance your knowledge of Church Heritage by completing the following; Reading The Pathfinder Story Earning The Adventist Church Heritage Award Reading a book on some aspect of Church Heritage Attend and complete a 2 Hr seminar in each of the following areas; Leadership Skills Communication skills Creativity & Resource Development Child & Youth Evangelism Current Issues. Read at least one additional book on Child/Youth Development or attend a three-hour seminar on the same within the age-group of your chosen ministry. Identify three current roles in your life and state your Personal Mission Statement, Vision, and core values and explain how you would use your Skills and Talents to benefit your local church. Demonstrate your leadership skills by doing the following: Develop and conduct Three worships Participate in a leadership role with your local church Children’s/ youth group in a conference sponsored event. Teach THREE Adventurer Awards or TWO Pathfinder Honors Assist in planning and leading a field trip for a group of Adventurers, Pathfinders, Ambassadors or Sabbath School class 20. Ownership of the following books; a) Bible b) Church Manual c) Adventist Beliefs d) Church Heritage Course book e) Church Hymnal / Song book 21. Supervise participants through either an Adventurer, Pathfinder or Ambassadors Class Curriculum or teach Sabbath School for at least ONE quarter 22.
