New owner strengthens Pluggit!
Pluggit, the German specialist and technological leader for residential ventilation
with heat recovery has experienced solid development in recent years, which
has led to a significant increase in market share. Key success factors contributing to Pluggit’s market leadership position are its innovative strength and excellent access to the market. In order to further enhance growth and to ensure a
winning position in the race for innovation, the shareholders of Pluggit entered,
advised by Altium Capital AG, into a process to find a new but strategic partner.
As a consequence of such decision, the Pluggit management team is pleased to
announce that the company has joined the Soler & Palau Ventilation Group.
With operations in Europe, Asia, North America and South America, the Soler & Palau
Ventilation Group is the global leader in ventilation. Four R&D centers located in Spain,
Singapore, USA and Mexico, along with factories and subsidiaries in 35 different countries confirm the global leadership of this Group with its team of 3500 people. As a result of this, an S&P product is now installed every 7 seconds somewhere in the world,
either in the residential, commercial, or industrial ventilation sector.
Following the acquisition of Pluggit, the Soler & Palau Ventilation Group will now benefit from a privileged position in the residential ventilation market in Germany, where
S&P has already been present since 1992 through S&P Deutschland GmbH. Pluggit
will, however, continue to use its own brand and operate completely independently.
Christian Bolsmann, managing director and shareholder of Pluggit GmbH said: ‘This

The Soler & Palau Ventilation Group reinforces its presence in the heat recovery residential ventilation market, which has already been successfully penetrated by Pluggit
GmbH. It looks forward with great enthusiasm to the knowledge transfer from the Pluggit
specialists into other S&P subsidiaries across Europe, where the Group holds 8 factories
and 20 business units. For 62 years, the family-owned Group has focused heavily on the
development of outstanding technological and market-oriented ventilation solutions and
