Aman Sachdeva, 8 year old son of Yogesh Sachdeva, is studying in Class 3, at Goodley Public School, Shalimar Bagh. He was diagnosed with thalassemia major when he was just ten months old and since then he has been going through regular blood transfusions and iron chelation therapy for his survival. Fortunately, his sister, Gitanshi, is able to donate her Bone Marrow for him. He will be undergoing his Bone Marrow Transplant by the end of July 2011 at B.L.Kapoor Memorial Hospital, Delhi. The estimated cost of which is Rs. 12,00,000/- Aman’s father works as a Water Supplier and is unable to bear the total cost of his treatment. He loves to read books and play cricket. To help him to be able to do all that and more, Thalassemics India is requesting you for help. Priyam Meghwani, a three and a half years old boy, suffers from a genetic blood disorder- Thalassemia major.
