Aman Sachdeva, 8 year old son of Yogesh Sachdeva, is
studying in Class 3, at Goodley Public School, Shalimar
Bagh.
He was diagnosed with thalassemia major when he was
just ten months old and since then he has been going
through regular blood transfusions and iron chelation
therapy for his survival. Fortunately, his sister, Gitanshi, is able to donate
her Bone Marrow for him. He will be undergoing his Bone Marrow
Transplant by the end of July 2011 at B.L.Kapoor Memorial Hospital, Delhi.
The estimated cost of which is Rs. 12,00,000/- Aman’s father works as a
Water Supplier and is unable to bear the total cost of his treatment.
He loves to read books and play cricket. To help him to be able to do all
that and more, Thalassemics India is requesting you for help. We would be
grateful if you would kindly consider Aman’s case and donate generously
towards his procedure thus giving him an opportunity to live a normal life.
All cheques for the donation should be made in the name of Thalassemics
India (with Aman’s name behind the chq). All donations are exempted
under 80G of the Income Tax Act, which thalassemics India will send you
on receipt of the cheque.
Priyam Meghwani, a three and a half years old boy, suffers
from a genetic blood disorder- Thalassemia major. He was
diagnosed with this disorder when he was just six months
old and has had to undergo regular blood transfusions and
iron chelation therapy for his survival.
Fortunately, his brother Jatin is fully HLA mapped and is
able to donate his Bone Marrow. Aman will be undergoing
his Bone Marrow Transplant at Christian Medical College ,Vellore, the
estimated cost of which is Rs. 12,00,000/-. The procedure will be done in
December, 2011. His father Vinod Kumar Meghwani works in a private
concern and is unable to bear the cost of treatment.
