BARTIN UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES - PREPARATION CLASS GRAMMAR (2nd Term – Lower Intermediate + Intermediate) The aim of the lesson is to enable the students to learn English grammar in a practical, functional and an interactive way. In this lesson, it is aimed to practise and revise English grammar structures systematically. The students are given functional examples to comprehend the grammar points. The students are provided with concise explanations of each grammar point through functional and practical examples and everyday conversational English. They are also provided texts, videos, different authentic and visual materials to see the structure in a context, and revision parts to check their understanding. Also, by means of speaking and writing activities, the students can practise the new structures in oral and written forms, which is useful to see their progress in a way. The students take the lesson 4 hours a week.
