ECRB1 was designed to be portable or fixed, the design allows people to be involved in the recycling process by allowing them to crush aluminium cans & plastic bottles up to 2.5 litres in an away from home environment. [Beverage companies, Surfing Brands, Recycling companies] Made in Australia. ECRB1 is made from 5mm Aluminium, measures 1200 High x 760 Depth x 580 Wide, Weight 80 kgs. The bin can be bolted against a wall, screwed to a post or bolted to the ground, the bin is portable and can be free standing for events hire. ECRB1 comes with a mounted stainless steel crusher PBC1ss ready to use, it also comes with a spare machine that is easily mounted in case of vandalism or breakdown. A 120 LTR Sulo bin is contained inside the bin giving a total capacity of 840 LTRS, the Crusher PBC1ss is bolted to the bin ECRB1, the crusher is made from stainless steel and will crush all size aluminium cans, steel cans on their side, and plastic bottles up to 2.5 Litres. The Crusher has 550 kgs of crushing force and reduces volume up to 10 x times. The Crusher has a cover plate for safety, lock stop of the crush plate to prevent finger crush, rounded handles to prevent scissor pinch, and a rotating handle to prevent wrist strain & blistering. The user lifts the cover plate and places an aluminium can in the crusher, they then pull the handle crushing the can, the can falls into the bin. With plastic bottles, the user lifts the cover plate, places the plastic bottle in the crusher, pulls the handle and holds it down whilst screwing the lid on tight, the bottle is then removed from the crusher and placed into 1 of 2 slots in the top of the bin.
