Expectations:
 Students will design a Google Presentation about two science-related careers.
 Students will use My Plan.com as the main resource.
 Students will include information from one of these: a career article from Explore “Curiocity” or a career video
from INFOhio.
 Students will use their knowledge of Google Presentations to demonstrate skills using animation, videos,
images, slide layout, and transitions.
 Students will use easy-to-read font and size for the presentation.
 Grammar and spelling will count. Please proofread your slides.
 Each student will have a minimum of 29 slides. Each slide must include the information given for each.
(See the special note on the front regarding the number of slides.)
 Students will not just “read” the information from the slide.
 Students will create a works cited page using Noodletools. All images, videos, and resources, etc. are to be
cited.
 Students will receive daily points for work accomplished. The classroom teacher will record the daily points.
Packet to be given to the teacher will include these items:
 Works Cited page (See above checklist—included in presentation points.)
 Career Interest Inventory results
 Two Science Career forms (30 each)
 Two Major and College forms (20 each)
