Main Purpose of Job
To lead and own the technical work for a department that provides bespoke digital
communication solutions for a blue chip client.
Detailed Duties
1. To take control and ownership of the web development processes and of the
technical set up to ensure consistency of approach across the team. This will involve
ensuring processes are up to date in accordance with the latest software and
industry standards.
2. To be involved in a full project life-cycle from conception to deployment.
3. To meet with clients, helping the project management team to present our solutions
4. To have line management responsibility for the development team.
5. To work alongside developers, producers and designers to ensure that the solutions
look great, work effectively and are delivered on time.
6. To ensure development standards are maintained and implemented.
7. To analyse, interpret and produce technical solutions.
8. To implement design briefs and develop media rich solutions.
Key Objectives
To ensure that you and the development team deliver web based solutions on time, on
target and on budget.
Special Factors
Occasional travel to other company sites may be required.
