IDEXX Laboratories develops and manufactures innovative
diagnostics and information sharing products and services for the
health and well-being of pets, people and livestock, improving
veterinary care and ensuring food and water safety. The
company was interested in implementing System Center 2012
Operations Manager to allow it to monitor two of its business
critical applications, which ran on a combination of Windows and
Linux systems.
Their goal was building out a sophisticated monitoring
environment that pulled in data from all of the disparate
systems, which impacted IDEXX’s core business application.
IDEXX decided to partner with Infront Consulting Group on this
project based on a direct referral from Microsoft. As a leader in
the System Center community and with numerous Microsoft
Valued Professionals (MVPs) on staff, we were able to quickly
understand and document IDEXX’s requirements and translate
those into a functional specification document. We were then
able to present regular phased build-outs of the management
pack to IDEXX for testing and feedback.
