A facility for assembly and repairs of MTT Company’s cryptographic
equipment
Manufacturing and repair facility of MTT Company’s cryptographic
equipment is being organized at … facility. Its main feature is installation of
software in Bluetooth devices assembled in South Korea. In the result of
installation of the special cryptographic equipment we get cryptographic devices
that are checked for quality in MTT Company’s testing equipment located at the
same floor. It as also partially verified in a testing facility that will be located
nearby.
At this facility the company undertakes repair and post-warranty service of
hardware cryptographic equipment of MTT Company. For this purpose there is a
set of details sufficient to do repairs. If there is a failure in the complex microchips
like processors, repair of such equipment is made in South Korea. Prior to being
sent for repairs, cryptographic software is erased from those devices. There will be
2 specially trained engineers responsible for repairs. MTT Company has developed
special testing equipment and software that will allow to detect faults in hardware
encryption devices.
The area of this facility is 100 sq.m., and the project will be completed in 2
months. Capacity of this manufacturing is 3000 encryption devices per month. In
case the production volume must be exceeded, there is commercial space available
nearby that can be engaged in one month. Currently there are 6 specialists qualified
for installing the special cryptographic software in the devices and conduct tests.
There are special systems developed for the purpose of reliable testing.
In 5 months the abovementioned manufacturing will be certified by Swiss
state organizations in accordance to ISO-9000 standard, which will allow us to put
the “Made in Switzerland” lable on MTT Company’s products manufactured there.
It will increase the prestige of encryption devices made by MTT Company.
