CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION: Handicap 0 – 9 (36 Holes Strokeplay – 18 per day)
SILVER DIVISION: Handicap 10 – 18 (36 Holes Strokeplay – 18 per day)
BRONZE DIVISION: Handicap 19 – 24 (36 Holes Strokeplay – 18 per day)
COPPER DIVISION: Handicap 25 – 36 (36 Holes Stableford – 18 per day)
SENIORS (50 years – up) - Play in above divisions
JUNIORS (18 years – under) – Play in above divisions
ENTRY FEE R300,00 Includes: Green fees for 36 holes; Tee/Coffee on arrival; Sunday Prize giving meal.
CADDIE Fees: R110 plus R20 halfway for 18 holes per player (tip optional)

CHAMPIONSHIP CONDITIONS
1. The Mpumalanga Executive Committee shall make all the arrangements and reserves the right to make
changes to the conditions of the Championship and programme as and when required.
2. The Championship is open to any amateur female golfer with an official handicap. It is the responsibility
of each player to advise the Championship Committee of her correct handicap on the first day of play.
3. The Rules of Golf, as adopted by the R & A Rules Limited, will apply, together with local club rules or
rules as approved by the Championship Committee. Breaching of any rule may result in disqualification.
4. Disputes must be lodged within 15 minutes of completion of a round and shall be verified and decided on
by the Championship Committee.
5. Competitors must report to the Starters 10 minutes prior to their Tee-off times. The order of play and
Tee-off times will be available from

on Wednesday 14th November 2012. Late arrivals will be disqualified. The Championship Committee
shall have the right to delay the time of starting if they consider the circumstances to warrant such a
decision.
6. Slow play rule will be enforced.
7. In the event of a tie in the Championship division, the winner shall be decided on a sudden death playoff.
In the event of a tie in the Silver, Bronze and Copper divisions, Womans Golf Mpumalanga’s count-out
rule will apply
8. Players shall walk at all times during play. Carts may only be used on submission of doctors’ certificates
and approval thereof. Submit certificates to Championship Committee well in advance.
9. The Championship Committee shall consist of the President and Vice-Presidents
10. In the event of inclement weather, the Championship Committee shall have the right to change the
conditions of play and to adapt the arrangements to accommodate the circumstances.
11. Dress code: Acceptable golf dress code shall be honoured during play and in the club house.
12. All entries (name, surname, handicap number, club and contact details) must be forwarded to Elsa
Loubser together with proof of payment
13. WGSA’s Code of Conduct will be in force and players are required to adhere to this.
