It will feature an address by Fr. Paul Check, Executive Director of Courage International entitled: "Clarity and Charity: The Catholic Church and Homosexuality". The evening will begin with a vocal performance by Trio Triumvirum, an a Capella group singing sacred music from the Renaissance era. The recital is at 6pm and the lecture at 6:45pm. The event is sponsored annually by The Pope John Paul II Bioethics Center and is open to the public free of charge. Confessions available during the talk. Dan Norton is a Catholic apologist from Boston, Massachusetts. He has spoken to college and Theology on Tap groups throughout the northeastern United States. He is an award winning speaker and the former President of the public speaking club, Copley Square Toastmasters, in Boston. He has academic degrees in both philosophy and engineering. He received a MA in Philosophy degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio and a Civil Engineering degree from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. As someone with an extensive background in religion and science, he is especially interested in the perceived conflicts between these two areas today.
