U.S. News Ranks Norwalk Hospital # 6 in Connecticut
Norwalk, CT, July 16, 2013 -- U.S. News & World Report today released its annual
“Best Hospitals” rankings. Norwalk Hospital is ranked # 6 in Connecticut and is recognized
among the Best Hospitals in Western Connecticut. It is also recognized among Best Hospitals
in Fairfield County. Norwalk received further recognition for high performance in
Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Geriatrics and Pulmonology.
According to U.S. News, hospital rankings were based on criteria such as patient
safety measures, survival rates and other objective data. The annual U.S. News Best
Hospitals rankings, now in their 24th year, recognize hospitals that excel in treating the most
challenging patients.
