a. Medical Education Club Meeting
Student Group: Medical Education Club
When: Tuesday, April 30, 5:30-6:30pm

Open to: All medical students
Come join us to discuss our current projects and plan new ones. Opportunities for involvement
with the club include planning future lectures, assisting with current projects, teaching during
Mod1 and Mod2, and starting new initiatives. In particular we would love to have input from
MS1s and MS2s in curriculum design as well as a potential new project to allow MS2s to visit the
clinics for a day prior to starting on the wards in January.

Student Group: Oncology Interest Group
When: Thurs, May 2, 6:30-7:30pm
Where: Stemmler Student Lounge

Join the Oncology Interest Group for a panel discussion on careers in oncology. A number of
diverse specialties will be represented, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, pediatric
oncology, gynecological oncology and oncologic surgery.

cardiology, their path in training, and their current careers.

a. MS3 Monthly Happy Hour
Student Group: MSG MS3 Class Reps
When: Every Third Thursday (Next: May 9th, 6p)
Where: New Deck Tavern

These are monthly happy hours at New Deck Tavern where MS3s can catch up with one
another now that we're all moving along with different schedules. They will occur on the
third Thursday of each block so that if an MS3 must miss one due to scheduling conflicts,
they can attend the next one the following month.

c. Israel Give & Tech
Group: Birthright Israel

Israel Give & Tech is a brand-new Taglit-Birthright Israel trip, in conjunction with Israel
Free Spirit. It's designed for Jewish people interested in experiencing how Israel uses its
technological innovation for tikkun olam, or repairing the world. This free 10-day trip
will depart from New York in early July. It is open to applicants from USA and Canada,
however all participants are responsible for their travel to and from the US gateway city
of departure. Registration is now open. Go to www.israelfreespirit.com/tech to start the
application. In Section 5, choose Israel Give & Tech as the trip selection.
