It is adapted from a ten-session seminar in which participants did a close reading of Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse coupled with the presentation of analytic case material. Following a presentation in which Dr. Griffin will provide a conceptual framework for the use of imaginative literature to teach analytic listening, the participants will be presented with selected excerpts from To the Lighthouse, to which they will do a piece of free writing about a clinical experience that comes to mind. Several participants may then choose to read aloud what they have written for purposes of group discussion. CME/CEU credits available for $25.
