Every individual is allowed to apply for multiple positions, however you must specify which positions you would like to be considered for. A statement of interest, pages 3 & 4 and a copy of your resume needs to be returned time stamped (SG Rotunda) to the OP office by Friday May 2, 2014 no later than 5pm. The Osprey Productions office is located at 58E/3102, if the office is closed upon submission, please turn the application into the SG Rotunda. If you cannot turn in a physical copy, please email pages 3&4 of this application, your resume and statement of interest to ospprod@unf.edu by the above deadline. If you have any questions please contact the OP office. All leadership is required to: Be in the office at least two (2) times a week totaling eight (8) hours . Must attend a 3 day OP Training TBA - during Summer B Must attend NACA! October 9th – 12th, 2014: Myrtle Beach, SC. Attend general OP meetings and give committee reports or clear absence with the OP director. Attend biweekly leadership meetings with committee progress reports. Attend weekly touch point meeting with the director or assistant director. Must be at Main Stages ALL day, unless absence is verified with director no less than two months prior. All chairs must respect every other member of the leadership team and every member of the organization. No trash talking, rumor milling or negativity will be tolerated. Attend events other than your own on a regular basis. Act professionally at all times when representing OP and Student Government . Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.25 throughout term and upon hire (GPA will be cheked). Help keep office clean and professional. Must be able to frequently lift 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. A. Programming Assistant for Graphics ($7.93/hour – up to 25 hours a week for 48 weeks) 1. Make and keep an up-to-date photo archive. 2. Create flyers for events at least three weeks prior to the event. 3. Create and laminate all badges for productions at least one week before the event. B. Program Assistant for Office ($7.93/hour – up to 30 hours a week for 48 weeks) 1. Update Member Database and e-mail list regularly. 2. E-mail out the weekly Osprey Productions Update to all members and staff of Student Affairs. 3. Update the website account with new and old events. 4. Organize and create internal purchase requests for all committee chairs. 5. Create purchase requests for any items needing to be purchased 7. Assist in creating the POP’s badges. 8. Maintain inventory of all office supplies and order when needed. 9. Maintain Osprey Productions Calendars. 10. Keep the office managed and organized at all times. 11. Meet weekly with the director for any updates and special projects. 1 904.620.2460 ospprod@unf.edu 58E/3102 C. Coordinator (7.93/hour – 5 hours a week + Scholarship) 1. Duties of all Coordinators a. Must be able to attend their own event in its entirety or clear absence with director or Assistant director and ask a trustworthy POPs, member or leadership to fill their absence. b. Must be in the office at least two (2) times a week for a minimum of 8 hours, with office hours posted. c. Work with different organizations to the best of their ability. d. Must distribute their own flyers at least one week prior to their event. e. Must meet with the Program Assistant at least three weeks prior to their event to create a flyer if needed. f. Must create and distribute road signs with POPs and members at least one week prior to their event. g. Must create social media event at least 15 days prior to their event. h. Initiate event approval forms, contracts, and any other forms that may be needed for an event. i. Follow event checklist in Coordinator binder. j. Responsible for setup/cleanup and maintaining control during individual events. k. Must plan at least 8 events per semester. 2. Current OP Coordinator Positions Event Coordinator: Music Responsible for the coordination of events with a general theme of music including but not limited to Coffee House acoustic sets, Silent Disco, Open Mic Nights, Battle of the Bands, oncampus live music performances, etc. This individual will be accountable for the execution of the entire event from pre-planning to day of operations including but not limited to event promotion, booking, coordination of logistics, adherence to budget, etc. This position will also play a large role in the planning of Homecoming 2015 Events. This coordinator is expected to have a passion for serving the students while enhancing campus life as well as planning and hosting events in the umbrella of musical entertainment. Event Coordinator: Stage Production Responsible for the coordination of stage based events including but not limited to Movie Nights, Campus Movie Fest, Drag Show, Public Speakers, Theater Shows, etc. This individual will be accountable for the execution of the entire event from pre-planning to day of operations including but not limited to event promotion, booking, coordination of logistics, adherence to budget, etc. This position will also play a large role in the planning of Homecoming 2015 Events. This coordinator is expected to have a passion for serving the students while enhancing campus life as well as planning and hosting events in the realm of entertainment production. Event Coordinator: Sports and Leisure Responsible for the coordination of events encompassed in the theme of sports and leisure including but not limited to capture the flag, laser tag, athletic tournaments, tailgates, as well as leisure based activities, etc. This individual will be accountable for the execution of the entire event from pre-planning to day of operations including but not limited to event promotion, booking, coordination of logistics, adherence to budget, etc. This position will also play a large role in the planning of Homecoming 2015 Events. Event Coordinator: Performance Art Responsible for the coordination of performance based events including but not limited to flash mobs, cultural awareness events, dance performances, etc. This coordinator must have a strong understanding of choreography and the ability to teach choreographed dances on a large and small scale. This individual will be accountable for the execution of the entire event from pre-planning to day of operations including but not limited to event promotion, booking, coordination of logistics, adherence to budget, etc. This position will also play a large role in the planning of Homecoming 2015 Events. This coordinator is expected to have a passion for serving the students while enhancing campus life as well as planning and hosting events in the domain of performance art. Promotions and Recruitment Coordinator: Responsible for the creation of all digital media needed to promote events to the student population. This individual will be expected to think outside the box in efforts to promote events, recruit event attendees as well as membership recruitment for Osprey Productions. In addition to the creation of digital media and promotion, this individual will serve as a historian, photographically documenting their term’s events. This position will be accountable for the implementation of new recruitment and promotion techniques. Experience in video production as well as still photography is anticipated. This position will also play a large role in the planning of Homecoming 2015 Events. This coordinator is expected to have a passion for public relations/marketing as well as serving students subsequently enhancing the campus experience. Office Program Assistant Responsible for managing the Osprey Productions Office and assuring all items are stocked and ordered, items are placed on calendars both internally and externally, and the Osprey Productions office is running at an efficient level. This position will also be required to enhance the membership experience as well as create new forms of member recognition. This individual will also be required to aid in the promotion of various events and work with closely with the Promotions and Recruitment Coordinator.
