Please take the time and read through the responsibilities of the Osprey Productions Leadership Team. If,
after reading through this section you feel qualified, please proceed to the application located on pages 3
& 4 of this document. A statement of interest, pages 3 & 4 and a copy of your resume needs to be returned
time stamped to Kayleigh Harrison’s office (Building 58, Room 3104) by Wednesday, May 25, 2016, no
later than 5pm. If you cannot turn in a physical copy, please email pages 3 & 4 of this application, your
resume and statement of interest to opdir@unf.edu by the above deadline. If you have any questions
please contact the OP office. Additionally, must submit a "Student Conduct Reporting Form" which may
be obtained at Kayleigh Harrison’s office (Building 58, Room 3104) upon completing the application or at
the time of any interview for these positions.
Criteria






Must be a registered A & S fee paying student at the University of North Florida
Must be enrolled in at least one (1) course both Fall and Spring semesters of the 16-17 school year
Must maintain an institutional 2.5 GPA or higher
Must be in good standing with the Office of Student Conduct
Must attach a statement of purpose (including reason for applying for the position, career aspirations/
objectives, and any additional information pertinent to the position)
Must attach a professional resume (including relevant work experience, extracurricular activities and
awards)
Each candidate may be required to perform the tasks associated with the role for which they are
applying as stated below. All positions may be required to complete additional duties as assigned.
Event Coordinator (4 @ 15 hrs/week)
Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating events from start to finish, including marketing, contracts and other forms,
setup and cleanup, and maintaining control during an event.
Within your hours as a coordinator, we would like to see you…
 Attend biweekly leadership meetings with progress reports and weekly touch point meeting with
the Internal Assistant Director.
 Promote events, such as posting social media 3 weeks before event and distributing flyers and Aframes at least 1 week prior to the event.
 Initiate event approval forms, contracts, and any other forms that may be needed for an event.
 Attend your own event in its entirety or clear absence with the Director and attend events other
than your own, hours permitting.
 Setup/cleanup and maintain control during individual events.

Program Assistant for Graphics (20 hrs/week)








Make and keep an up-to-date photo archive.
Create flyers for events at least three weeks prior to the event.
Be able to make graphics that you can size for many mediums such as banners, badges, Facebook
cover photos, road signs and A-frames for campaigns.
Create and laminate all badges for productions at least one week before the event with the Office
Assistant.
Have a go with the flow attitude that understands you might have to make graphics last minute
because event planning requires unexpected changes.
Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft products is a must.
Experience using video editing programs and Illustrator is a plus.
Other duties assigned by director.
Office Assistant (25 hrs/week)












Update Member Database and e-mail list regularly.
E-mail out the bi-weekly Osprey Productions Update to all members and staff of Student Affairs.
Update the website account with new events.
Manage all of Osprey Productions social media: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, SnapChat, and
Instagram.
Assist in creating Talon badges
Create purchase requests for any items needing to be purchased.
Maintain inventory of all office supplies and order when needed.
Maintain Osprey Productions Calendars and Master Calendar.
Keep the office managed and organized at all times.
Meet weekly with the director for any updates and special projects. Help the director with tasks
and have an attitude that is up to learn new projects every week.
Work under the internal assistant director to help manage the coordinators.
Other duties assigned by the internal director and director.
