VARIATION OF ENROLMENT
DEFINITIONS:
Administrative Date: The date after which payment of a Variation of Enrolment Fee (VoE Fee) is required.
Census Date: The date against which the enrolled load in a unit is tallied. While this date is especially relevant for
ACT units and FEE-HELP, it is also used for Vose awards.
Withdrawal Date: The date before which a student must withdraw from a unit if an academic penalty is to be
avoided.
Notes: A Variation of Enrolment form must be completed before a student can be withdrawn from a unit. An
appointment with your Course Pathway Advisor MUST be made before completing the VoE form. Actions and fees
outlined below will be effective at the time of form submission. An appointment with the Academic Dean is
recommended. VoE Fee is to be paid to Vose at the time of variation, irrespective of whether the student is using
FEE-HELP.
