The Deer Lakes administrative team is dedicated to providing children with the best programs and services available. Members of the team are responsible for implementing the board’s educational mission and serving as the liaison between the board, teachers, parents, students, local government and residents. To enhance their skills and keep abreast of leading-end trends in education, administrative team members regularly attend academic conferences to review, study and analyze the latest in educational research.
They meet regularly with professional colleagues and the elected Deer Lakes Board of
School Directors to upgrade the level of education in the district.

Housing grades nine through twelve, Deer Lakes High School is equipped with over 55 classrooms, library, cafeteria, auditorium, computer learning labs and a gymnasium with a swimming pool. Renovations completed for the start of the 2010-2011school year created a state of the art building. All classrooms have interactive Promethean boards and projectors connected to the teacher's computer to provide both teacher and student hands on access to online videos, blogs, newsfeeds, etc. Our fine arts and technology education departments features a music theory room along with band and chorus, two art studios with kiln and pottery rooms, a TV broadcasting studio along with metal and wood shops.
All of this provides our students with not only the opportunity to achieve in the core academics but also allows our students to flourish in areas outside of math, English, social studies and science.

Deer Lakes Middle School supports grades six, seven and eight. With 17 classrooms and four science rooms, it features two full service, networked computer labs, each with 30 workstations. Other educational features include a family consumer sciences area, art/technology education area, art and music section, speech and language rooms, math and reading support areas, a comprehensive library-learning resource center, and lifeskills instructional support areas.

Curtisville Primary Center houses full-day kindergarten and grades 1 and 2. The Primary
