Dear Swim Coach,
We are happy to invite you to join us on Saturday, September 6th to kick off the Scholastic
Season with our 8th Annual September Splash. We will hold the meet in the Reid Family Pool at the
Duff Tyler Aquatic Center on campus at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton.
Since the meet is a timed final format, we ask that you do your best to enter the swimmers
using accurate seeding times. We would like to make sure the fastest swimmers are in the final heat,
so please refrain from using the “NT” (No Time) for top swimmers. Your best estimate times are
welcome. The meet will be run using our Omega electronic timing system, and meet results will be
posted on line immediately throughout the competition on MeetMobile as well as after the meet at
saintandrewsswimming.com
All guests of Saint Andrew’s School are expected to conduct themselves appropriately. It is
very important that athletes stay in the areas that are designated for meet use and not wander around
campus. Please be aware that we do not allow foods of any kind on the pool deck, but water and
sports drinks are welcome. There is a pavilion area where athletes may eat food they bring.
Teams will be assigned to certain areas on the deck where they may elect to place tents for
cover. Teams are also allowed to pitch tents outside the gates in the grassy areas that surround our
complex. There will be a $3.00 admission fee for spectators. Please let me know if you have any

Location:
Reid Family Pool, Duff Tyler Aquatic Center, Saint Andrew’s School,
3900 Jog Road, Boca Raton, FL 334334.
Facility:
Outdoor 50-meter by 25 yard pool. Competition course will be over 8 or 10 lanes, depending on number
of entries received. Ample lanes for continuous warm-up/down will be provided. Two one-meter Duraflex
diving boards will be available for diving competition to run simultaneously. Omega electronic timing
system with 8-lane readout scoreboard display will be used for the swimming competition. Hospitality will
be provided for all coaches and officials.
Rules:
2014 NISCA Interscholastic Rules in conjunction with FHSAA Regulations will govern the meet with
exceptions as noted in this meet information sheet.
Eligibility:
All schools must be a member in good standing of the FHSAA. Athletes must be eligible athletes as per
FHSAA regulations. Each team must be accompanied by a coach, faculty member or other person
appointed by the principal of the school to represent the interests of the school and the swimmers.

Diving:
The meet will follow NISCA & FHSAA rules for a 6 dive contest except that there will be unlimited entries.

Scoring:
First through 16th places will be scored. Individual events will be scored in traditional Championship Meet
scoring. In individual events, the top three athletes from each school are eligible to receive points. Teams
may enter an unlimited number of relays but only the top team from each school will be eligible to receive
points.
Awards:
Team Recognition to the first, second and third place teams both boys and girls divisions. Ribbons will be
awarded swimmers who place in the top sixteen of any individual event. The top three relay teams will
also receive ribbons.
Admission:
$3.00 admission. Programs are also available for $2.00
Entry Fee:
$3.00 per event; $6.00 per relay provided entries are received electronically. Entry fees are doubled if
host is required to manually load entries into Hy-Tek software. Please make checks payable to Saint
Andrew’s School. Fees must be paid in full before competition begins.
Entries:
Entries are preferred via email. Please be as accurate as possible when estimating entry times. Each
individual may enter a maximum of four events no more than two of which may be individual events. Each
team may enter a maximum of four athletes per event with the ONLY exceptions being 50 freestyle and
diving where unlimited eligible athletes may participate. A “No Time” (NT) entry will be accepted but will
mean that swimmer will be seeded in the early heats. With your email entries please send phone
numbers where you can be reached and be sure you receive a confirmation that we have received your
entry.

Entry Deadline: Non-electronic entries must be received by 6pm Monday, September 1st, 2014. Electronic entries
must be received no later than Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014. Please return the Intent to Compete
Form or simply e-mail that information to ensure participation. Entries must be submitted in Hy-Tek or
compatible format in order to receive discount on entry fees. Host team will send out a team manager file
to all schools who return the attached Intent to Compete Form. Please e-mail entries to:
