You will work on a professional glass working torch. Please wear cotton clothes and pull long hair back. Felted Bangles – Come learn to knit using an easy and fun tool (can be used in your classroom). You will also learn to felt your knitting to make bangle bracelets. Leave wearing your completed project. No Fail Collage – Get surprising and wonderful results using a no-fail technique. Learn this method of masking edges and a unique way of adhearing materials. Each collage is guaranteed to be an exciting success. Needle Felting – With a specialized needle, we will bond wool fibers into a small sculptural work of art. Make a nesting bird or a flower to wear as a pin. Basket Weaving – Make a simple basket. This beginner basket is easily shaped using twining and weaving techniques. You will also learn a simple border for finishing. Simple Weaving Ideas – Learn how to make a cardboard loom and weave a simple project. Take this loom with you to re-create in your classroom. Simple weaving projects can be completed and repeated. Ceramics – Slip and Slab – Learn how to construct a simple slab project using a technique which incorporates the use of tar paper. Finish the project with slip resist techniques. Viking Knit – Create a stunning bracelet using a simple looping technique, wire and a few common tools. Class will cover key stitches and basic jewelry techniques for attaching findings to your completed bracelet. . **This classroom is not handicap accessible.
