On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April 2015, the third Go Wild With
Weaving Workshops will be run in Collingwood, Golden Bay.
Choose from 6 tutors, each offering a 2 day workshop weaving with natural
materials including willow, cane, seaweed, cabbage tree leaves, NZ
flax/harakeke, pine needles and bark.
You will learn how to weave your own beautiful basket.

Learn ancient craft skills of coiling and stitching with Deb Price.
Discover the art of weaving natural or inorganic materials with Anita Peters.
Weave a traditional willow harvest basket with Nicola Basham.
Make a fabulous flax kete with dyeing and intricate patterns with Maureen Harte.
Knit an astonishing bark basket with Deb Curtis. (Guest tutor from USA)
Learn twining and plaiting large, flax baskets with Sarah Hornibrooke.
