This involves researching topics form accredited sources, conducting interviews with industry professionals, and verifying content with the NGV Advisor. For Students Who: Have strong research, analytical, writing, and communication skills This is a student who can learn a topic inside and out - from the macro large topics, to the specific and granular topics. Specific Tasks: Frame education issue and determine the most important topics to create specific lessons on by writing first scripts for the education packages. Schedule two calls with people in the industry to verify research. NGV CREATIVE DIRECTOR Responsibilities: The NGV Creative Director is in charge of bringing the NGV Club education to life and with relatable, fun, and attention-catching graphics, illustrations, and design. (For examples watch the videos at the NGV website) For Students Who: Have an interest in business, design, digital media, and story-telling This is a student who can make any topic engaging, has experience or is willing to learn illustration, InDesign, Photoshop, or any videography experience. Specific Tasks: Create motion graphics, drawings, and images that will be part of each NGV lesson. Work directly with the Research Director to make sure each lesson is relatable and also engaging for other students. NGV SPONSORSHIP & OUTREACH DIRECTOR Responsibilities: The NGV Club Sponsorship & Outreach Director is in charge of developing creative strategies to partner with local and national companies to sponsor different NGV Club events both on the school and global level. For Students Who: Have strong communication skills, are great at pitching ideas, want to develop skills in the business of selling. This is a student who is outgoing and isn’t afraid of speaking with companies about getting sponsorship for speakers or for event costs. Specific Tasks: Find sponsors to pay for NGV Club Team to travel to the annual summit Film their education content Host two business speakers each semester. NGV CONTENT DIRECTOR Responsibilities: The NGV Content Director is in charge of making sure each lesson has the core elements to an NGV lesson - it is informative, life applicable, engaging, gives real life examples, and integrates appropriate illustrations and graphics. The Director is also in charge of ensuring the content and messaging about NGV to the school and students is consistent and _______ For Students Who: Are able to execute very well, produce a finished product, and coordinate very well within a team. This is a student who is able to synthesize both research, life applicability, and creative elements. Specific Tasks: Work closely with the Research Director and Creative Director to put together a fully coherent lesson script and sign off on the submission to the annual summit. Determine the best medium for different types of lessons (video lesson + written “cheat sheet”). Be responsible for working to send out “NGV Ambassador Spotlights” and communication to students, parents, alumni, and the broader school community.
