ONE-2-Phone offers the convenience of One Number Everywhere, allowing customers to use any local SIM card of their choice and yet contactable on a single number, irregardless of location, eliminating hefty auto roaming charges. Working in conjunction with an overseas local number, this ONE number serves as a follow-me-number that enables you to be contactable anywhere in the world, with 2 simple steps: Step 1: Forward your assigned ONE number to the overseas local number (mobile/landline) Step 2: Divert your Singapore mobile and/or land line numbers to your assigned ONE number before you board the plane. Once this is done, all calls to your Singapore mobile / land number will then be forwarded to, and received on, the designated overseas mobile number. Besides being contactable on a single ONE number, this cuts your roaming charges to zero when you are overseas. Choice of Service: A. Fixed ONE-2-Phone™ This caters to frequent travelers who require a permanent and fixed ONE-2-Phone™ service number. A unique ONE number is allocated on a permanent basis, and chargeable on a monthly subscription. B. Dynamic ONE-2-Phone™ This caters to travelers who require a temporary ONE-2-Phone™ service number, as and when they travel. A ONE number is allocated upon user’s request, and is valid for a period of 7/14-days block. Further extension on validity period can be done via SMS or online. Upon expiry, the ONE number will no longer be valid for the user, and system will generate a different ONE number on the next application. Dynamic ONE-2-Phone™ is chargeable only for the period used, in blocks of 7-days. The service will be activated within 10 working days upon submission of application form, subject to the availability of ONE-2-Phone Numbers. Dynamic ONE-2-Phone™ Registered NGV customers may apply this service via SMS or through your online web management portal (www.ngv-group.com). The service will be activated immediately upon submission of request via SMS or online, subject to the availability of ONE-2-Phone Numbers. SMS Application The SMS application will trigger an immediate activation of ONE-number for your account. The ONE-number allocated will be valid for 7 days. SMS ‘ROAM’ to NGV Gateway. You may then forward this ONE-Number to you local number via SMS or Online (see Section 3: Using ONE-2-Phone) Prior to expiry, you may further extend the ONE number for another 7 days, by sending the SMS command: ‘EXTEND’ to the any of the NGV gateway numbers (listed above) *Note: Please ensure that the SMS request is sent via a mobile number that is registered with NGV. A Dynamic ONE-2-Phone™ Number application pop-up box will appear as follow: Select the number of days required (choice of 7 and 14 days), and click ‘Submit’ to complete the application. 4. Log onto to your account http://voice.ngv-group.com with your Login ID and Password; II. Upon logging in, your account information will be displayed. Click on your User Name to modify your account information and access your ONE-2-Phone™ management page; III. Click on the ‘One-2-Phone’ tab. Your Assigned One-2-Phone™ number will appear as your service number. Forwarding number refers to the overseas local phone numbers that you will be using while in that country. To add the forwarding numbers, click on ‘ADD’ on the right hand side of the forwarding number. Input the details on the following number as follow and click Submit. You can add as many forwarding numbers as necessary. V. To activate a forwarding number, click on the ONE-2-Phone™ service number, select the forwarding number you wish to activate, select ‘Enable’ and click ‘Update’. Divert your mobile or office number to the ONE number assigned to you. See Appendix A for a brief guide to how to divert calls for common handsets. II. Upon arrival at the overseas destination, turn on the overseas mobile number (forwarding number) so that you can receive all calls that have been diverted to your ONE number (ie, your Singapore mobile or desk phone numbers). Calls that are made directly to the ONE number will also be received on the overseas number. Using ONE-2-Phone to make an outgoing call You can also make an overseas call from your overseas SIM card* and take advantage of NGV’s premium voice quality at competitive rates. I. Using a local number in the overseas destination, call your ONE-2-Phone number. Please include the Singapore prefix +65. II. Upon hearing the ring tone, hang up the call to disconnect. III. Our system will call your overseas local number within a few seconds. IV. Upon answering the call, you will hear a voice prompt asking for the number of the destination party that you wish to contact. V. Enter the destination number, followed by a hash “#” key. You will need to carry another phone housing your Singapore SIM card to receive text messages(SMS) Please remember to cancel call divert on the Singapore mobile phone upon your return Receiving SMS overseas is free Replying to a text message whilst you are overseas is equivalent to sending an international SMS, and the charges varies from 20 cents to more than a dollar per SMS depending on which country and which service provider’s network you are on. Appendix A The calls divert / forwarding feature is present in most mobile phone. Activate the “call divert” function and divert all voice calls to NGV’s ONE-2-Phone number.
