NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SWANSEA FOOTPATH NOS. 66, 65 AND 64 NEAR CILONNEN COMMUNITIES OF LLANRHIDIAN HIGHER AND THREE CROSSES PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER On 18th February 2015 the Council of the City and County of Swansea confirmed the above Order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to extinguish: (a) that length of footpath LH 66 depicted as commencing on the vehicular track leading to Cilonnen-Fach Farm at Grid Ref. SS 55249372 and curving in a predominantly south easterly direction for approximately 607 metres through Hendy Farm to terminate on the highway at Grid Ref. SS 55779355; (b) that length of footpath LH 64 depicted as commencing a short distance east of the vehicle track to Hendy Farm (Grid Ref. SS 55639355) and proceeding in an east north easterly direction for 188 metres or thereabouts to terminate at Grid Ref. SS 55789366 east of Forgemill Farm; (c) that length of footpath LH 64 depicted as commencing at Grid Ref. SS 55749404 and proceeding in a predominantly west north westerly direction for approximately 68 metres to terminate on the existing footpath at Grid Ref. SS 55719410; (d) that length of footpath LH 65 depicted as commencing where the footpath leaves the track to Cwm-Nant-Uchaf at Grid Ref. SS 55519413 and proceeding in a predominantly north easterly direction for approximately 207 metres to terminate on footpath LH 64 at Grid Reference SS 55659428; (e) that length of footpath LH 65 depicted as commencing where the tracks to Bryn-Hir Farm and Penygraig Farm intersect (Grid Ref. SS 55419450) and proceeding to leave the track in a predominantly north easterly direction for 51 metres or thereabouts before proceeding in a west north westerly direction for approximately 16 metres to rejoin the track and footpath a short distance south west of Penygraig Farm at Grid Ref. SS 55449454. A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of the Council of the City and County of Swansea, Civic Centre, Swansea between 8.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Fridays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.( Please quote ref row-249) The Order comes into force on 18th February 2015 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the power of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act as amended or of the Order, he or she may under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 11th May 2015 to make an application to the High Court.
