INFORMATION FOR
GRADUATION DATE – Class of 2016

DATE AND TIME TO BE DETERMINED:
 Currently set for the week of May 24-27, 2016
 Rehearsal same day; students arrive for rehearsal and remain
through graduation.
ADMISSION TICKETS:
 Required for ANYONE attending the graduation ceremony (with the
exception of very small children who will be held on your lap).
 Tickets are limited in number and we will not know the exact number
each graduate will receive until just a few days before graduation
(when we know how many students will graduate).
FINES AND FEES:
 All fines and fees must be paid PRIOR TO graduation!
 Diplomas and transcripts can be held indefinitely (even years) until
outstanding fines and fees are cleared.
 Did you forget to turn in a sport uniforms? ROTC shoes?
Textbooks? Band uniform? Library books? Be sure to clear these as
soon as possible.

This is a TICKETED EVENT (no Junior Dues!)
Ticket prices increase as we get closer to Prom. Purchase early to
save $$$.
Everyone must purchase a ticket to be admitted to Prom.
You must be classified as an 11th or 12th grade student to purchase a
ticket for you and your guest.
No refunds on any tickets purchased.

 Spend the evening in the park; Depart the park at 3am to return to Savannah
(approx return arrival at Jenkins – 8:30am); No overnight accommodations.
 There will be Seniors from all over the country there – NOT JUST
JENKINS SENIORS!
 Total Cost includes transportation from Jenkins High School to the park and
back to Jenkins High School. It also includes their admission ticket to the park.
 Specific “Do’s and Don’ts” (including DRESS CODE) will be issued to the
students who have paid to attend the event.
 Students are responsible for their own expenses for food, souvenirs, etc;
personal belongings; behavior and dress.
 This event is run through a private tour company. All information,
instructions, permission slips, etc. will come through their company.
 There is a payment plan available and the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE!

SENIOR DUES must be paid in full by the deadline (to be determined)

 SCCPSS requires that each school contribute to the graduation exercise expenses relating to
facility rental, setup, security, program and ticket printing and musicians.
 Dues may be paid by money order or cashiers check only.
 Payments may be made before school, after school until 3:20pm and during lunches.
 Cap and gown will not be delivered until dues are paid in full.
 No money will be refunded for students not completing graduation requirements or who
choose not to participate in the graduation programs.
 What is NOT included in Senior Dues? Many items offered to Seniors are OPTIONAL and are
additional expenses NOT COVERED in Senior Dues. Senior pictures, cap-and-gown pictures,
Prom, Grad Bash, trips, announcements, name cards, thank you notes, Senior bags, memory
books and other mementos available for purchase through Herff Jones.

Every SENIOR receives a yearbook as part of their Senior Dues.

Summer Dates – July 20 and 21.
Did you miss summer dates for SENIOR pictures? We have a
makeup day October 12th.
 The sitting fee is $15.00 – this gets your student’s senior picture in the
Yearbook. For $30.00 you get the sitting fee, the picture in the
yearbook and proofs from the sitting.
Senior Yearbook Ads (see below for the 2015 prices):
 Senior Ad for the yearbook prices start at $250.00 for a full color page ad, $150.00
for a half color page ad, and $85.00 for quarter color page.
 The deadline for Senior Ads for our 2016 Yearbook will be Friday, October 30, 2016.
