Dear Potential Graduate and Parents/Guardians;
Graduation activities are a student privilege, not a right. Students must meet the
following requirements in order to participate in graduation activities:
1. “Grad Dues” pay all graduating class activity expenses. The amounts of
Grad Dues are dependent on the activities planned. Only those who have
paid their dues may participate in any of the activities.
2. Grand March & Prom: Potential graduates and their escorts may participate
in the Grand March and Prom.
3. Safe-Grad: Extra payment is required in advance for those potential
graduates who wish to attend Safe-Grad. Only potential graduates may
attend.
4. Graduation Rehearsal: Mandatory Attendance is required to qualify for
attending graduation. The practice is at 4:00 pm sharp on Wednesday June
18. Please be on time. The practice takes less than one hour.
5. Graduation: Official graduates who have fulfilled all academic and financial
obligations (including delinquent list items) and who have met conduct
expectations to the time of graduation may participate. The administration
posts a list of names the morning after Prom. The school dress code is in
effect for graduation. Shorts and flip-flops do not meet the dress code for this
formal event.
The administration reserves the right to withhold the privilege of graduation if a
student has not attended the graduation rehearsal, has disciplinary issues, is on the
delinquent list, or does not respect the dress code.
