This may be because they haven’t reached this doman yet with CKLA and don’t yet know enough about Medieval times. Students may not understand how the templates must line up in order for the castle to stand straight because they may not understand the template pieces stand in for a ruler. Students will have examined a handout and discussed where and how to place the decorative details. Teachers can examine their choices to determine mastery. Students may not understand that the placement of decorative details also serve a purpose.
