UK Theatre 32 Rose Street London WC2E 9ET T: 020 7557 6700 F: 020 7557 6799 E: events@soltukt.co.uk W: www.uktheatre.org/events UK Theatre Briefing and Networking Sessions In partnership with: Terms and Conditions • Places on all courses, conferences and events organised by UK Theatre (each an “Event”) are allocated on a first come, first served basis. • Your details will be added to the UK Theatre database in order to process your booking and you will be added to our mailing list be kept up-to-date with information on details of our training programme and other UK Theatre activities. • For all Event bookings, payment is required before the start date of the Event unless mutually agreed otherwise. • For all courses and conferences you will receive venue information and directions at least 7 days prior to the start date. UK Theatre will endeavour to send this information to delegates for all other Events as soon as they become available, but in any event not less than 3 days before the Event. Cancellations of Events • Whilst UK Theatre will make every effort possible to run all Events; we reserve the right to cancel or change any Event if necessary. • Event information is correct at time of going to press but is subject to change. For the latest information, please visit the relevant page via our Training and Events page at www.uktheatre.org/events. • If UK theatre cancels or changes an Event, you will be entitled to either a full refund of the cost of the Event or a credit for use towards a further Event. UK Theatre will not be liable for any loss, claim, damage, or any incidental or consequential damages of any kind, whether based in contract, tort or otherwise, which arises out of or is in any way connected with an Event cancellation or other change. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed by UK Theatre. • If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify UK Theatre in writing by email (events@soltukt.co.uk). Please be aware that for any Event, cancellations received after 6.00pm the day before the Event start date will be considered an on-the-day cancellation. Cancellations received on the day for any event will not be accepted and full fees will still be due. No refund will be issued and UK Theatre cannot hold this money on credit. • All bookings may be transferred to another colleague’s name for the same Event if they are eligible to receive the same rate however this may not be reflected in the event literature on the day of the Event (i.e. delegate list in the delegate pack) depending on how late UK Theatre receives notification that the name should be transferred. • When using funds held on credit for a booking, this can only be used once and will not be returned as credit should you cancel within the restrictions of our terms and conditions. Conferences, UK Theatre AGM, Annual Review and Lunch and UK Theatre Awards 3. IOSH Managing Safely 4. Cancellation policy for half and one day courses, seminars and workshops only: • Where ten working days’ notice or more is given before the Event start date, a full refund will be offered. • Where less than ten working days’ notice is provided before the Event start date, full fees will be due and will be held on credit for use towards a future Event. No refund will be issued. • When funds are agreed by UK Theatre to be held on credit, they will be available to use for one year starting from the date of cancellation. To use held funds, this must be mentioned at the time of booking and cannot be added after the booking has been made. 2. Cancellation policy for: - Conferences - UK Theatre AGM, Annual Review and Lunch - UK Theatre Awards • Where five working days’ notice or more is given before the Event start date, a full refund will be offered. • No credit/transfer or refund will be given should you cancel and give less than 5 working days’ notice before the Event start date. 3. Cancellation policy for IOSH Managing Safely only: • Where ten working days’ notice or more is given before the Event start date, a full refund will be offered. • Where less than ten working days’ notice is provided before the Event start date, full fees will be due and will be held on credit which can only be used towards a future booking onto a IOSH Managing Safely course. No refund will be issued. • When funds are agreed by UK Theatre to be held on credit, they will be available to use for one year starting from the date of cancellation. To use held funds, this must mentioned at the time of booking. 4. Cancellation policy for: - Effective Management in the Arts - Essentials of Marketing • It is a condition of entry to the course that you confirm that you are able to attend for the full duration of the course. • If you wish to cancel your booking, you must contact the UK Theatre in writing (events@soltukt.co.uk). • Where 21 working days’ notice is given before the event start date, a full refund will be offered. • Where between ten working days’ notice and 20 working days’ notice is given before the event start date, a refund of 50% of the full fees will be offered. • Where less than ten working days is provided before the start date, full fees will be due. No refund will be issued and we cannot hold this money on credit. • Registrations may be transferred to another colleagues name for Effective Management in the Arts up to 5 working days before the event. • Bookings cannot be transferred to another name for Essentials of Marketing due to the application process.
