Rory McCleery – Director
‘In Paradisum – Music of Lamentation and Consolation.’
The Marian Consort presents a programme of music on the dual themes of lamentation and

are complemented by a new piece from young composer Emily Levy, which juxtaposes texts
from the Latin Requiem with poetry by the late American author André Debus. For this new
work, the Consort will be joined by local singers in an exciting sound-world which draws on
the music of the past.
