One way to keep your art fresh is to try different techniques or choose different color variations without even changing your style.
And you can do this using the palette knife method.
Palette knife painting will loosen you up and increase your flexibility in painting with a new way to approach your subjects.
This technique will prove to be, not only fun and exciting, but will also be a great addition to your artistic creations.
About the artist:
Valentina has been a professional working artist for more than 30 years. For the past 25 years she has been teaching painting in a
variety of techniques and styles. Although Valentina has wide range of experience in painting, her artistic preference lies with
impressionism.

If you choose to work in Oil Paints:
•Oil Paints: Your favorite colors
•Linseed oil
•A variety of palette knives
•Odorless mineral spirit: Gamsol works great!
•Container for your odorless mineral spirit
•Palette: I recommend a paper palette pad as they are easier to clean up. (*please no glass palettes)
•Brushes: a variety of sizes including a 2 inch flat brush.
•Canvas: sizes can range from 18x24 – 20x24 (please bring 4-6 canvases)
•Paper towels
If you choose to work in Acrylic Paints:
•Acrylic paints: Your favorite colors
•Water container
•Spray bottle
•A variety of palette knives
•Retarder
•Brushes: a variety of sizes including a 2 inch flat brush
•Canvas: sizes can range from 18x24 – 20x24 (please bring 4-6 canvases)
•Paper towels
