Barry County’s endowment fund at
the Barry Community Foundation.
Generous community partners, such as you, help maintain the high quality of the various
programs of Leadership Barry County which helps keep the cost accessible to all local citizens.
Each class consists of a diverse group of residents including youth participants.
Although the programs for Leadership are thriving and we have trained almost 400 leaders,
continuous planning for our future is needed in order to remain a sustainable organization for
Barry County. Leadership Barry County started an endowment campaign with the goal to raise
$750,000. This will enable us to sustain the program and continue Linking Leaders forever. We
are nearly there thanks to a generous contribution from an anonymous donor to match all gifts
that are designated to the Leadership Barry County endowment fund through the Barry
Community Foundation. This incredible gift means that any contribution that is received by
Leadership is automatically doubled, any amount will be matched! If each alumnus sent $50
we would raise over $17,000 for the endowment fund!!
