Job Description – Heavy Industrial Recruiter Title: Heavy Industrial Recruiter - Exempt Description: Provide the highest level of recruiting services to ProEnergy Services. This position needs to deliver high quality professional and executive-level candidates and advances the ProEnergy brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. This position reports to the Manager of Heavy Industrial Services. Responsibilities include and are not limited to: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with ProEnergy leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders. Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse industrial trades’ organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Assess candidate’s skills through written and oral methods. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position. Prescreens candidates. Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, and include the use of face-toface behavioral-based interviewing methodologies. Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Prepares candidates for interviewing with ProEnergy Services and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectationsetting. Performs detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates and reviews results with hiring managers. Conducts follow-up calls and quality-improvement studies with hiring managers and new hires. Initiates and maintains excellent working relations within the Human Resources organization. Works cooperatively with all members of the recruiting team to develop and implement recruiting plans and activities. Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate. Qualifications: 2-3 years experience in recruiting, preferably in the energy industry. 2 or more years of heavy industrial craftsman experience or equivalent knowledge. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-level location. Ability to travel as required. Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills. Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc). Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner. Ability to perform research, compile and analyze data, and write clear, concise and accurate reports on complex subjects. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple job assignments. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
