MVTV Board Members Not Present: Bob Tankard, Wayne Greenwell,

Introduction
Anne Lemenager opened the meeting at 3:07 p.m.
Richard Skidmore made a motion to accept the August 6, 2013 MVTV
Board Meeting Minutes. Ann Bassett seconded the motion. The vote was
unanimous in favor with John McCormick abstaining.
Vote: 7 – In Favor, 0 – Against, 1 – Abstention
Executive Directors Report
Stephen Warriner spoke about getting things organized and finished up at
the new station. Stephen Warriner spoke about the memorial service that
Michelle Vivian held at the station on Sunday September 1, 2013 for Natalie
Dickerson; MVTV has planted a Holly tree in memory of Natalie.
Anne Lemenager asked if MVTV had any feedback about not covering the
Ag Fair? Stephen Warriner stated yes, MVTV had some complaints and
staff encouraged them to contact the Ag Fair and let them know that
MVTV’s live coverage was missed. Stephen Warriner will contact the Ag
Fair committee during Winter 2014 and see if they would like MVTV to
continue live coverage next year.
Stephen Warriner spoke about the current status of the MVTV Contract with
the Island Towns. Anne Lemenager and Stephen Warriner have been going
through the contract, and writing down any issues they have to discuss at the
next CAB meeting. The MVTV Board had a discussion and reviewed the
contract.
Richard Knabel entered the meeting at 3:37 p.m.
Chairman’s Report
Anne Lemenager presented the MVTV Board with new MVTV logo’s for a
new MVTV sign. The MVTV Board had a discussion about the new logos.
Bill McGrath made a motion for the new MVTV sign to be 9x16 like a
Television and look something like logo number one that was presented
to the board. The MVTV Board had a discussion about the motion.
Jonathan Revere seconded the motion. Ann Bassett abstained. The
motion did not carry.
Vote: 3 - In Favor, 4 – Against, 1 – Abstention
The discussion on a new MVTV logo will continue.
The MVTV Board will meet on October 1, 2013 at noon.
Old Business
Gail Tipton asked about how soundproofing the studio was going. Stephen
Warriner showed the MVTV Board sound proofing samples he had received.
The MVTV Board had a discussion about soundproofing.
New Business
None.
Jonathan Revere made a motion for adjournment at 4:24 p.m. Richard
Knabel seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous in favor.
