Note: All church members are invited to attend Church Administrative Board Meetings and have the opportunity to speak before the
board making their desires known, but only the members listed above have vote. The Church Administrative Board will operate in
such a way as to encourage consensus rather than dependence upon a vote. When matters or issues become combative and Conflictual
the Lay Leader, Pastor and Board Chairperson may meet and consider the possibility of calling a Church Conference.
The Chairperson shall serve for two years and the Vice-Chairperson shall become the Chair at the completion of the two year cycle.
The Lay Leader shall serve for two years and the position shall be filled through election procedures at Church/Charge Conference
held each year.
The Church Administrative Board shall meet Quarterly: January, April, July, and October. Called meetings may be held to
consider time crucial matters.

September, and November). The Council Meets to hear reports and deal with any issues or dilemmas posed by the various ministries
and missions that are part of Carrollton First UMC. A church calendar will be developed and good communication will be enhanced
as we listen and appreciate the varied work of the people of this great church. Budget requests will be made to the Council on
Ministries, which will, in turn, make a composite request through the Finance Committee. A report to the Church Administrative
Board will be made by the Chairperson of the Council on Ministries.
