March 23, 2015, Napa, CA – The Fifth Annual Napa Valley Arts in April begins next week, when the
valley showcases its wealth of art and artists from American Canyon to Calistoga. Featuring works
that span artistic disciplines, genres and decades, Napa Valley Arts in April offers an artistic feast of
exclusive events, openings and exhibits throughout the entire month.
Week two, April 6 through 12, 2015 is focused on the towns of Yountville and Oakville, offering
more than a dozen events, highlights include:

Exclusively from winemaker Charles W. Hendrick's private collection, visitors may sip on limited
produced Napa Valley wine, while strolling through various styles of art, including abstract, oil on

The Jessup Cellars April Edition of its ongoing TasteMaker Series features producer and music
journalist Heather Jacks, author of The Noise Beneath the Apple. Jacks will share her vision and
creative experience on what became a stunning, multi-media production. In 2013, the leading-edge
project won Book of the Year - Performing Arts & Music. In addition to creating a 200-page
collector’s edition art-style book full of high quality photographs and intimate stories from 35
groundbreaking buskers (street musicians) in NYC’s underground music scene, Jacks’ project
includes a full-length vinyl LP, ongoing blog, documentary short, and a remake of Billy Joel’s New

Have you ever wondered where sound comes from, how it is made and how it travels? Symphony
Napa Valley presents the Air Ensemble, musicians of the Lincoln Theater Artist in Residence
Program, as they take guests through a musical mystery of sonic proportions. Children and parents
alike will learn about classical music, different musical instruments and sound production through
this exploratory chamber music concert performed in a welcoming and creative environment.
Following the concert there will be a musical instrument “petting zoo” where everyone can touch,
feel and even play different instruments with the musicians. Although concert is geared toward

Yountville Arts invites guests to the Annual Art, Sip & Stroll, an afternoon of fine wines while
strolling through the Art Walk. While the route will be easily walk-able, the Yountville Trolley will
run all day to transport visitors through town, free of charge. Tasting bracelets will be available at
