Mission Statement NAPA Is Your MIssion The National Agritourism Professionals Association is a non-profit membership organization which provides assistance to agritourism enterprises, direct farm marketers and other visitor-based agricultural venues to resolve regulatory or policy-based challenges to start-up or ongoing success. These issues are often on the local level. Examples include zoning ordinances, building permits, taxes, farm safety, liability and insurance and food safety – roadblocks which threaten to close a successful agritourism venue and block the economy needed to sustain the farm as well as educate visitors who are interested in the farm, its production and resources. NAPA members are from varied backgrounds: extension staff, government, farms, tourism agencies, law, insurance - all network with their peers to share their knowledge with farmers who are facing problems sustaining their farms & educating visitors. Join NAPA. Help a goat dairy continue to sell delicious cheese and have popular ‘farm to fork’ dinners. Help a farmer and the building inspector find a way to permit building a facility for educational and information sessions and not pay more taxes. NAPA will provide resources, consultation and communication avenues for agritourism venues in the United States and Canada. Jane Eckert of Eckert AgriMarketing notes, “I think it’s great that our industry has matured to a point where an organization like this is both needed and viable.” www.NAPA-USandCanada.com Organization/Agency _____________________ Street/PO Box __________________________ City ________________ State/Province _______ Phone: _____________ (o) _______________ (c) 2015 Dues Registration PayPal on Website www.NAPA-USandCANADA.com Payable by check to “NAPA” $100 ___ Dues January-December Pay Dues by December 12 and Receive a $20.00 Discount on 2015 NAPA Conference Registration Sunday, February 1 Inn at Opryland, Nashville TN $115.00 Lodging – Pay thru NAPA Return Membership Application To: NAPA Contact Information Martha Glass, Acting Exec.
