Each event will have an A & B runner who will run in the same race. Scoring: Athletes are awarded points score based upon ESAA track & field cup scoring system plus 5 points, in order that you automatically get 5 points for competing regardless of time/distance. (see table attached) Competition: All schools will need to provide 2 officials and 1 team manager for each meeting. These roles can be undertaken by any competent person i.e staff/older students. There will be 3 schools present at each meet – with every school attending 2 meets throughout the term to accumulate points. Depending upon number of entries schools may be asked to attend extra meets as a guest. The final will comprise of the three teams who have accumulated the most points. In the final points will be awarded for placings. 6 points for 1st and 1point for 6th.
