TRACK MEET DATES:
 Thursday, February 19th: All Events, with Instruction.
 Thursday, February 26th: All Events, with Minimal Instruction.
 Thursday, March 5th: All Events, with NO Instruction.
ARRIVAL TIME: Please arrive at Calvary Christian by 3:30 so that the athletes can
warm up as a team and be ready when the first race is called.
ENTRANCE FEE: $3 per person. $1 per child/student. Athletes & children 3 &
under are Free.
CONCESSION STAND: A concession stand will be available. Please use the trash
receptacles for all of your garbage and help clean up the area around you before you
leave. We would like to leave Calvary Christian nicer than when we first arrived.
(Schools, you may want to bring a couple of black garbage bags to have near your
school’s meeting area to encourage a quick clean up.)
ATHLETE INSTRUCTIONS:
 Once inside the stadium, athletes should report to their school’s meeting area
to the far left side of the track. It is a grassy area. It is a sunny location, and
schools may want to have a tent out there.
 Athletes may want to bring a bagged chair and place it under the tent so that
there is a comfortable place for them to sit and wait for their race when they
are not cheering on their teammates.
 Only athletic directors, coaches, and athletes that are in a current race will be
permitted on the track and field. All other athletes should be at their meeting
location or around the perimeter of the track cheering on their teammates.
 It is important to listen for your race/field event to be announced as all events
will be announced over the loud speakers. If an athlete doesn’t check-in for
his/her race, he/she will be disqualified and will unable to compete in that
event.
PARENT INFORMATION:
 Parents will have a great view of their child no matter where they are located
in the stadium. All events will take place on the track or in the center of the
field which includes all the field events: discus, long jump, shot put, and
softball throw. You can walk all the way around the track to an area that you
would like to cheer from and set up camp there. 
COACHES: Last minute changes are not permitted as everything is entered
electronically and names will not be changed.
JUMBO-TRON: It’s so exciting! Athletes will be timed electronically, and the results
will be projected onto the jumbo-tron and as well as broadcasted live over the
internet so that your friends and family members who are not able to attend in
person can cheer them on from their computer!
MIDDLE SCHOOL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP: * May 9, 2015 * If our athletes
meet certain qualifying times or throws/jumps, they may be eligible to compete in
the Middle School State Championship Track Meet that will be held in Bradenton at
the IMG Track and Field Complex this year. Students can also attempt to qualify at a
Regional Meet. See your athletic director for more details.
On the next page are the qualifications from last year’s state meet. These may
remain the same for this year – they haven’t been changed just yet.

How to Qualify
You may qualify through one of two
ways....
Hit a Qualifying Standard - We will
recognize ANY meet as a qualifier this
year as long as they have a fullyautomatic timing (professional service
preferred), use Hytek or RaceTab
software for meet management, and
get meet results to flrunners.com in a
timely fashion. OR, if you finish in the
top 2 in your event at an official
regional championship meet.
ATHLETIC DIRECTORS:
You Still Have to Register!
Just because your athlete hit a
qualifying standard or finishes in the
top 2 in an official regional meet does
not mean you are entered. This just
means they are qualified to enter.

The athlete's coach or parent will need
to enter them as an individual, club, or
school no later than May 5th so the
meet officials know who to expect and
