Academic Excellence/Catholic Identity –no report.
Financial Management – none
Fundraising –Gala-numbers are still being finalized with the church office. $5115 were raised
for designated funds at the Gala. Walk-a-thon committee is ready to kick things off with a
pepfest the week of April 7th.
Marketing/Development – no report
Technology-No report
Registration for the 2014-2015 school year is underway. Mark will update the advisory council
every Friday with enrollment numbers. Parent survey was reviewed. 24 out of 31 surveys
stated they were happy with the current uniform. Parents commented on the cost of the hot
lunch program and Mark will investigate further on this. There will be an opening for a lunch
server for the 2014-2015 school year. School Curriculum-parent feedback was that parents
wanted more updates from staff regarding specials (Spanish, music, phy.ed). Calendar-12 out
of 31 surveys parents were happy with the 2013-2014 calendar. (Differs from district calendarschool on Oct 20, Nov 21, Jan 26, March 2, 12, 13, and May 1st. 2 weeks off at Christmas and
Spring Break/Easter Break March 30-April 6)Terri moved to support the proposed calendar for
2014-2015 presented by Mark and the rest of the council was in agreement. There is currently
an opening in the 4th grade classroom. There have been several applicants thus far. There will
also be an open position in the school office. Bussing for 2014-2015 school year will change.
The district will no longer be offering transportation from the middle school to MQP at the
current time. Mark will send out information in an Eblast asking for suggestions from parents
(start earlier, no bussing option, etc.). There weill be an Open House the second Thursday of
May. Postcards are being sent to all parish families who have children 3 years of age-preschool.

Mrs. K provided the teacher report.
Bunny Breakfast is coming up this weekend. Parent-Teacher conferences went well. Staff have
reviewed the district school calendar for the 2014-2015 school year and have had a chance to
offer their suggestions. Staff have been very thankful for all of the parent support in regards to
fundraising and volunteering. Staff is looking forward to technology improvements that will be
coming with the money raised from fundraising. IPAD carts, etc (depending on vendor) will
cost abou $7000 and the addition of 3 SMART boards will cost $13,000.

Next Meeting
Presented by Mark in Father’s absence. Father is encouraging all parish members to take the
parish wide survey.
Mark is looking for suggestions for advisory council members for next year by 4/7. All current
members of the board are returning except for Pete Orth who has fulfilled his term.
Next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 1st at 7pm in the Middle School Building.
Alex motioned to adjourn, Terri seconded. Motion passed and meeting adjourned at 8:34pm.
