Boys Town Announces Bellevue Public Schools Parenting Classes
BOYS TOWN, Neb. – Boys Town announced today Common Sense Parenting® is available FREE for
parents with children attending Bellevue Public Schools to help with parenting strategies. Starting
Oct. 24, 2013 and running through Dec. 12, 2013, parents with children ages 6 and older can meet
on Thursdays at Bellevue Elementary from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to talk with other parents, receive
award-winning parenting books and discuss strategies, tips and tools with a parenting expert. A
separate class is available on Tuesdays for parents with toddlers and preschoolers ages 2 to 5 years
at Wake Robin Elementary starting on Oct. 22, 2013 and running through Dec. 3, 2013.






“Parenting strategies help to increase positive behavior, lessen misbehavior and create opportunities
to learn alternative skills,” said Bridget Barnes, Boys Town Common Sense Parenting Director.
“Children are more cooperative and parents are less frustrated.”
This class is FREE for parents of children attending Bellevue schools. Childcare is available upon
