Boys Town Awarded Donation from Bank of the West Grand Island, Neb. – Boys Town in Grand Island was awarded a $1,000 donation from the Bank of the West to benefit its new Behavioral Health Clinic. The clinic opened in 2012 and due to demand, will be expanding to its new location in August of 2013. “Boys Town is grateful to Bank of the West for its generous donation and continued support,” said Dave Reed, Boys Town Central Nebraska Operations Director. “The donation helps lessen the initial costs of expanding our program and more importantly, helps us know that the community is behind us and supporting what we do in a very tangible way.” The Grand Island Behavioral Clinic offers outpatient services to children of all ages with emotional and behavioral problems, as well as family therapy and psychological assessments, to the Grand Island area and surrounding community. The Bank of the West donation will help cover some of the costs associated with the clinic expansion, including the purchase of necessary assessment tools for psychological testing and evaluation of the youth.
