CSIR-CDRI is planning to shift the NMR Spectrometer (Bruker Avance II 400 MHz NMR
Spectormeter, Bruker DRX/Avance III HD 300 MHz NMR, spectrometer, Bruker Avance II 300 MHz
NMR spectrometer) in our new campus at Jankipuram Extension, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. All the terms
& conditions for shifting including the job to be carried out in two bid system i.e. Technical and
commercial. Technical bid contain the complete company profile, experience, balance sheet etc and
financial bid comprises of Rates, taxes and commercial terms and conditions etc. while shifting is
mentioned in the job work sheet. Please send your quotation in Sealed Cover duly super scribing with our
Enquiry no. and due date on the outer cover so as to reach this office on or before the due date and time
mentioned above. Quotations received upto the due date and time will be opened as indicated above in
the presence of bidders who choose to attend. Quotations received after the due date and time will not be
considered.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. SCOPE OF WORK :
1. The scope of work shall be one physically to survey the demarcated laboratory and to
assess the job and identify suitable type of manpower, types of vehicles for transportation
and machinery for lifting the material from NMR Lab of CDRI, MG Marg, Lucknow the
loading and unloading at the new CDRI campus and placement of the
equipments/material at the designated areas upto to the satisfaction of Sc.I/c. concerned.
2. To prepare list of materials/transfer voucher note in 4 copies and get the signatures of
concerned officer and handover the copies to Security Officer of Old campus, one copy
to Security Officer of new campus, one copy retained with Sc.I/c. concerned and one
copy may be submitted along with the bill.
3. Suitable wooden packing of the NMRs as required and as approved by the Scientist
concerned may be provided by you.
4. To place suitable vehicle/manpower as desired at the premises of the laboratory.
5. After loading into the vehicle by providing sufficient number of skilled labour to avoid
any damage to material. Level indicator must be pasted on the packet. If level indicator
shows tilting them company is fully responsible of loss assessed and decided by CDRI
6. Collection of certificates from Stores department of CDRI to the effect that the material
under transportation are old and used good and no octroi/levy/similar tax should be
charged on it.
7. Safe transportation to destination without changing the vehicle in which the goods were
loaded at the starting point, except in case beyond contractors control with prior approval
of the Sc.I/c./Stores and Purchase Officer of CDRI, Lucknow.
8. Coordinate with the consignee and organize delivery.
9. Unloading the material at the destination address i.e ground, 1st, and 2nd floor as the case
may be by providing required number of skilled labours.
10. To unload all items with the help of skilled labour and to place same at the desired place
and manner to the entire satisfaction of CDRI.
11. Obtain acknowledgement of the consignee on the transfer voucher with the list of lost and
damaged items, if any.
12. In the event of theft/loss/damage in transit proper reporting to be made to the Director,
CDRI and to be compensated for the same as decided by CDRI. The present value of the
NMRs are mentioned against each.
13. To unpack and pack goods carefully in the event, goods are to be got verified at any
check post and obtain certificate.
14. In case of job is not completed within the agreed period, Director, CDRI have the right to
claim penalty for late execution @ 1% of the contract value per week subject to
maximum of 5%. The penalty rate shall be leviable in case of delay in shifting beyond
schedule as per contract.
2. VALIDITY OF BIDS
The tender shall be valid for a period of 6 months from the due date of offer and the rate once submitted
shall not be changed/valid during the entire period of the execution
3. RATES
The tenderer shall submit his firm rates strictly as per schedule of rates attached as per Annexure 'A'.
After complete inspection of the site and condition later on no dispute in respect of lifting of material
arises then your offer is liable for rejection.
4. BILLING AND PAYMENT
After delivery of consignment bills have been submitted in triplicate alongwith acknowledgement on the
transfer voucher note by the authorized officer/scientist (consignee) to the Director, CDRI, Lucknow.
Payment shall be made through E-payment within 30 days if found in order after effecting recovery, if
any. No advance shall be made on this account. Quantities given in the list/bill of quantities or estimated
quantities which may vary as per requirement, hence you are requested to inspect the site and asses the
value before submitting the bid. The bill may be raised in favour of Director, CDRI, Lucknow.
5. INSURANCE
NMR Spectrometers are very delicate and expensive. It require highest value level of careful handling so
contracting agency shall be solely responsible for the safety, security and proper handling of the material.
Firm has to ensured all the material and cost of insurance shall be in the scope of work of the contractor.
Firm/contractor has to quote the rates including the cost of insurance. Firm has to produce proof of the
insurance before starting of the work.
6. INCOME TAX
Tax deduction at source (TDS) for income tax as per law shall be made from the bills while releasing the
payment..
7. ARBITRATION
All disputes and differences whatsoever arises at any point of time during execution of the contract, shall
be settled by the Director, CDRI, Lucknow and contractor has the provision of the contract. However, in
the event of dispute cannot be settled mutually, such dispute shall be settled as per arbitration and
reconciliation at 1996 of the Govt. of India and its subsequent amendment
8. MAJURE
Any delays of failure and performance of either party caused by acts of God of the public enemy shall not
constitute default hereunder are given rise to any claim for damages.
9. JURISDICTION
The contract shall be governed by and construed according to laws enforced in India. The contractor
hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the court situated at Lucknow for the purpose of actions and
proceedings arising out of the contract and courts at Lucknow only will have the jurisdiction to hear and
decide such actions and proceedings.
10. INDEMNITY
The contractor/firm hereby undertakes to indemnity the CDRI against all actions suit, proceedings, claim,
losses, damage, road accident etc. which may arise under minimum wages act. Fatal accidents at Motor
Insurance Act, Workman Compensation Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Family Pension and deposit
Link Insurance or any other act or statutes not herein specifically mentioned but having any direct and
indirect application for the persons engaged under this contract by him.
The contractor shall defend, indemnify and hold CDRI harmless for any liability which may be imposed
by Central, State or local authorities and also from under all claims/suits arising out of the order by reason
of the work provided by the contractor including any liability that may arise out of accident, whether
brought by the employee, labours of the contractor or by third party or by Central or State Govt. authority
or any Sub Division thereof. CDRI, Lucknow shall not be responsible for any claim, compensation that
may arise due to damages, insurance, pilferage to the contractor employee, staff/labours under any
circumstances while an employee or labours are engaged in CDRI duty under the contract.
11. INCHARGE CO-ORDINATOR
Director shall be the incharge of this contract.

transportation, loading, unloading and Insurance etc,.
